Tuesday 23 July 2024

2pm - 4pm

Where: Batemans Bay Library, Hanging Rock Place, Batemans Bay

Cost: free

Get buzzy in plastic free July.

Learn how to make beeswax wraps, a creative and sustainable way to keep food fresh. Bring your own piece of material or repurpose something you have. Don’t go out and buy new fabric. Natural fabric such as cotton, hemp or linen are best. Synthetic fabrics that contain polyester or nylon will not absorb the beeswax.

Meet a local beekeeper and learn how vital bees are for our ecosystem and life. This workshop is suitable for anyone aged 15 and above.
