Inclusive playgrounds

Variety Inclusive Playground

3km south of Batemans Bay town centre is the largest playground in Eurobodalla, in a seaside location between the Batehaven shops and Corrigans Beach. This play area is fenced, with seating and exercise equipment within, and toilet and picnic facilities nearby.

This inclusive playground is a partnership between Council and local charity The Bay Push, who initially raised funds for the liberty swing and wheelchair access to the beach from the park. The project was realised with funds from Variety, the local community, Council, and government grants.

Gundary Inclusive Playground

Part of the Gundary Regional Sports Park, this playground was designed and constructed by Council's parks team. It includes a range of inclusive elements in an accessible environment.
