About Katherine

My name is Katherine and I own and operate Down the Path Family Day Care. I have been an educator for 22 years with Eurobodalla Family Day Care. I have one adult and two teenage children. I started family day care when my eldest child was young, I have been very lucky to have all my children in my service. As a family we enjoy the outdoors, sharing our wealth of experiences and incorporate into our learning days.

About my service

Down the Path Family Day Care is situated in coastal Tuross Head, in a quiet street. We enjoy exploring our neighbourhood with fun beach walks exploring glimpses of crabs in rocks and whales migrating north to south each year.

My natural setting within my home offers intentional learning environments to evoke curiosity and wonder. Sensory play, goop, playdoh, art and cooking experiences are just some activities we love to do.

We attend local services including 3B’s Supported playgroup, Eurobodalla Libraries and excursions with other family day care educators.
