About Katrina

Hi, my name is Katrina and I own and operate KC Kiddies Family Day Care. I have been working in the early childhood education sector for approximately 16 years. I began my journey in early childhood education in a long day care centre in Townsville. In anticipation of our first child, I began my own family day care. Since that day, I have never looked back. Family day care is my career, my love and my passion.

Along with family day care, I’m also passionate about photography and design. I love providing visually appealing activities and experiences for my little friends to enjoy. I strive to deliver creative experiences for children in their everyday life.

About my service

At KC Kiddies Family Day Care, I’m passionate about providing appealing resources and activities for children. Children are the core of the program and are provided with lots of opportunities for independence and self-help skills. I use lots of visuals to support and be inclusive of all children.

I provide calming and nurturing environments for all and collaborate with families as a team to ensure the best possible learning experiences.

Something unique about my service is that meals are provided for children, so you won’t need to pack a lunchbox. Meals are enjoyed as a group and most meals are created with the children’s input.
