Description of goods/services/consultancy: To investigate and develop the detailed design of coastal protection works at Casey Beach.

The services will require the Consultant to:

  • review previously completed and Council approved concept designs
  • complete the necessary site investigations and undertake additional investigations as required to inform the design
  • obtain all necessary approvals to permit further field work (geotechnical) investigations, and approvals (or concurrences) as necessary to permit the subsequent construction works to be undertaken
  • community and stakeholder engagement is also necessary to achieve a successful outcome
  • develop a complete set of ‘Request for Tender’ documents for the construction of the proposed new coastal protection works.

Tendered amount (Incl GST): $156,850.00

Variation: $15,015.00 + $15,411.00

Total contract value: $187,276.00

Provision for variation to the amount: This contract may be subject to variation, the details of which will be declared if and when any variation occurs.

Variation 1:  increase in scope to include the review and update of the Aboriginal Due Diligence report undertaken in 2019, for the value of $15,015.00 Incl GST

Variation 2: on-site visit with relevant representation from Bluecoast's environmental consultant and the Batemans Bay Local Aboriginal Land Council, for the value $15,411.00 Incl GST

    • Compared on the  basis of the assessed fees, calculated by adding the assessed values of qualifications and departures to the original Tendered Fees (50%).
