Description of goods/services/consultancy:

  • Stage 1: Detailed Design, including environmental and cultural assessments, FCNSW and Crown Land permit, project plan, signage plan, site establishment, cultural heritage and native veg protection
  • Stage 2: Construction (new trail) and refurbishment (existing trail) of approximately 80km of single trail located in Mogo State Forest in the Deep Creek Dam area.
  • Stage 3: Construction (new trail) and refurbishment (existing trail) of approximately 90km of trails in Mogo State Forest in the Maulbrooks Road and Mount Wandera areas.

Tendered amount (Incl GST): $7,065,759.80

Provision for variation to the amount: This contract may be subject to variation, the details of which will be declared if and when any variation occurs.

Changes to ratio between new trail built and refurbishment of existing trail. Bridges required to cross creeks and streams.

No variations have been approved, however Council is working with the principle contractor and funding bodies to manage cost escalations related to materials and labour.

Provisions for renegotiation: Council may change scope as defined in the Design and Construct contract.
