Proposal for a primitive campground at Moruya Showground

Council has developed a proposal for a primitive campground to be established at Moruya Showground.

The proposal responds to actions contained in Council’s adopted Moruya Golf Course and Showground Plan of Management:

• Moruya Golf Course and Showground Plan of Management (5.1 MB)

The draft proposal includes:

• 18 camp sites in 2 designated camping areas
• catering for self-contained caravans and motor homes for up to 7 nights duration
• the refurbishment of the amenities required by legislation.

The draft proposal is on exhibition for an extended 42-day period until Thursday 30 January 2025.

This extended 42-day public exhibition aims to allow community members and site users over the busy Christmas / New Year period to comment on the draft proposal.

Note: Council is closed from 12pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 reopening Thursday 2 January 2025.
