Council's reply

Council resolved unanimously at the meeting held 25 July 2023 (Minute 23/107) THAT:

Council approve the submitted traffic management and control plans for the Afghan Veterans March for 2 September 2023.

We understand the event has now been cancelled for 2023.

Council remains supportive of the march to recognise veterans of the Afghan War, and we look forward to working with the RSL local branches in any future proposal to deliver this event.
