Gerry Bussa asked the following questions at the Ordinary Council Meeting 10 October 2017.

I am speaking as a Local Employer with the view to be fair to all Rate Payers, Contractors and the Environment. Eurobodalla Shire Council state in their community strategic plan to "support local businesses and rate payers".

Firstly I would like to ask
1. How Council believes the practise of not publishing Contractor rates and dry hire rates benefits any group?
2. As access to the rates is vital to our progressive planning I ask if any council staff members or councillors have any reason why this practise to discontinue publishing rates was implemented?

We have asked Tony Swallow to please explain many times but no clear explanation has been forthcoming to date.
