Published: 16 January 2025

Grants of up to $1,000 are available to help not-for-profit community groups and organisation run 2025 NAIDOC Week events celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievement.

The funding is for activities and events making a positive community contribution with creativity, vision and originality during this week of celebration from Sunday 7 to Sunday 14 July.

In previous years, grants have been used for activities including Aboriginal flag-raising ceremonies, storytelling, sports and games, displays of cultural artefacts, language programs, art and craft demonstrations, bush tucker gardens, and murals.

Applications are open now and close on Tuesday 6 April with successful applicants notified in June. For more information and to apply visit the NAIDOC Week activity grants page.
