Join in this free training session for people interested in supporting others to increase their digital literacy. Council's Employment Revolution service is teaming up with The Tec Exec to run free digital mentor training. At this training, participants will learn about:
- what it means to be a digital mentor
- foundation and essential digital skills
- intergenerational digital support
- overcoming barriers and challenges
- how to inspire others to use technology and the benefits of being online.
Once trained, digital mentors can volunteer at drop-in sessions in Batemans Bay and Moruya to help community members with low digital literacy.
This training will take place over two days:
- Thursday 17 April, 9am to 12pm
- Thursday 24 April, 9am to 12pm.
