Everyone is welcome to attend this public meeting where Council will host elections for new members for the Tuross Head Memorial Gardens Community Facility Management Committee.
The committee includes representatives from user groups and interested volunteers who work together to ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility.
If you’d like to nominate for a position on the committee, come along to this public meeting or email our Coordinator Recreation and Development before the meeting date.
Committee tasks can include:
- caring for and managing the facility
- managing finances on Council's behalf
- overseeing promotion, events and fundraising
- representing facility users to Council
- providing information concerning the use of the facility and potential future needs
- advising and making recommendations on the maintenance and upgrade of the building and equipment
- advising and making recommendations on the expenditure of funds
- promoting good communication between the community, facility users, and Council.
