3Bs ocean-themed sensory adventure - Catalina

Cost: free

Stimulate curiosity and imagination and embark on a journey 'beneath the waves' during National Playgroup Week 2025.

A variety of activities designed to appeal to sight, sound, touch, smell and movement allow children to explore the wonders of the ocean in a playful and educational environment. Suitable for children aged 0 to 5 years.

Sensory activities include:

  • underwater art
  • clay moulding sea creatures
  • musical ocean (rain sticks, ocean drums, and maracas to create soothing ocean sounds)
  • Jellyfish in a bottle
  • slime and sea creatures
  • seaside sensory bins of sand, seashells, spaghetti sea, seaweed and rice pouring
  • rock pool water play
  • ocean storytime and more.
