Seniors Festival

The NSW Seniors Festival is an annual celebration of the role and contribution of older adults to our local communities.

Running from Monday 3 March to Sunday 16 March, the 2025 Seniors Festival theme is ‘Time to shine!’

Seniors Festival grant recipients

Each year local community organisations can apply for Seniors Festival grants of up to $500 through Council.

Seniors Festival grants help community groups to support people over 60 to remain active, healthy and engaged locally.

In 2025 grants were awarded to:

Clyde River and Batemans Bay Historical Society for a talk on native bees
Batemans Bay Orchid and Foliage Society for a seniors floral art class
Bodalla Men's Shed for an open day
Gourmet Coast Trail for a high tea and talk
Narooma Quota Club for a seniors wellbeing day
